Sundial shells have a rather unique lenticular, flat shape. The top of the shell's intricate banding pattern resembles a pinwheel, while the bottom of the shell is concave and resembles a spiral staircase.

Frame details: unframed on ¾"profile canvas with painted sides, eliminating the need for framing altogether. If preferred, can be framed using a standard frame or floater frame.
